Little Wings

hope comes with little wings…

Today I hung fairy lights around my window. I walked in the last of the Autumn sun. I watched nature twist and turn through its seasons. I captured the light through a lens and drank hot tea while I edited.

The world goes on, even without us in it. I’ve struggled with isolation, with not being able to go out but today I found beauty on my doorstep. Sometimes we forget to look for it. I know I do. So I’m making a point now to observe. To capture what is already there. To notice the little things, even if they are the same butterflies that produced the caterpillars that ate their share of our summer veggie patch. Everything has its place and we need to find ours but we also need to give it time and space.

It comes on little wings.
